✨ In recent days, we took part in two intense days of job shadowing at Mentor in Culture (Athens), within the Erasmus+ KA122-ADU program.
It was a valuable opportunity to explore how FabLab’s expertise can strengthen cultural project management and integrate audiovisual and digital tools into European project design.
💡 From discussions on the projects myEleusis, Echoes, and Transition to 8, concrete insights emerged on how digital fabrication and interactive design can be integrated into museum practices and heritage enhancement paths. In particular:
Development of audiovisual content to support project dissemination.
Use of 3D printing and prototyping to create educational and inclusive tools.
Implementation of more effective project management strategies to connect culture, community, and innovation.
🤝 This exchange strengthened the skills of all participants, offering new perspectives on how to design and communicate initiatives at a European level. It reinforced the awareness that collaboration among cultural institutions, makers, and local communities is key to generating sustainable and impactful projects.
For FabLab Frosinone, this marks another step toward creating an ecosystem where digital technology becomes an ally of heritage and historical memory, turning calls for proposals into real processes of shared innovation—where management, audiovisual media, and data analysis come together to create new forms of accessibility, engagement, and sustainability.
